People are getting more bored despite endless streaming options

I got a backlog of classic TV series' I missed out on from early 2010s, I'm watching now. I got a backlog of ps3, ps4 games to complete. I got a book shelf of books I need to read too. I'm hitting the gym too

My lady always wants to hang out whenever our schedules are free. I got homies & family I aint seen in ages that I need to hang out with.

I can never be bored.

Amazon prime is horrible,, i am watching Cross but outside of that their quality has went down hill

Netflix, a few things is good but overall they are at a 6 out of 10

Tubi is trash outside of my Detroit hood shows/movies

I don’t really fukk with anything except for like a few months like mayor of kingstown on paramount, but i get that on firestick

My wife refuses to watch shows or movies with subtitles because it forces her to pay attention. She can't read the subs and swipe IG at the same time.

I'm at the point where the moment my plug started asking for Bitcoln, I just settled for the free options like Tubi and Pluto. Hell Kanopy and Hoopla hold the marsupial down on my classic movie tip.

Sports you can easily see the clips on Reddit and YouTube.

We went full circle with this shyt, instead of actually evolving. Companies got greedy, media is bloated AF, and too many goddamn options with no friggin payoff.

Nothing is of quality anymore

TV was GOAT in the early to mid 2010s, TV fell off a cliff in the 2020s.


There's gems on Peacock, Paramount Plus, etc but most of it is mid.

I'm a big proponent for reading a book for entertainment. Sometimes I spend most of my leisure time reading than I do watching something on streaming.

There literally less activity options and far less regular places to socialize that's thriving. People have less disposable income and things cost wayyyyy more now. shyt ain't just cell phone and the internet's fault for mafukkas being less social.

I'm so blessed to have grown up in the golden era of fun.
My high school, college, Army life was multi-movie worthy.

Back in the day whatever you rented you watched, whatever was on tv you watched. I watched so much movies growing up I'd never watch nowadays because its not like after 20 min i could to blockbuster and say this movie ain't catching me can i get a new one? nah i had to sit through it
