They did, if there's no huge influence on individualism there's not conflict. Remember humans create habits from learned behaviour.

I truly feel this way and really dont want anything from anyone. But then I feel it causes me in turn to be even more selfish. It's something I psychologically battle with, within.

I mean, until I meet my S.O. and have children... then they will be everything I live and work for.
