Its interesting how people complain about others being "politically correct" until its something that affects or offends them. Like how you, and others here, seem to be

offended by this picture. IDK, it just seems like you're all making a big deal out of nothing. These two have accomplished so much, but it all comes back to their

sexuality...
No one is offended by the picture. I'm just making fun of how serious you are taking it. It's not a big deal until you started calling "woo woo" on people.

No one is calling them gay. We're saying the picture is suggestive. Get mad at people for answering a question that's in the thread title, brehs.

It is kind of serious, though. There is this idea that black men have to be hyper masculine all the time and show very little emotion. Also, that the way we express ourselves to one another is through a very

narrow idea of what is and isn't acceptable. Maybe you don't totally understand because you're female (and I'm sure you have your own unique issues that I'm ignorant about, being female), but thats where

my comments in this thread were coming from.

So why is your problem with my opinion of the photo? Instead of the photo itself which is stoic. I said in my post that if they were smiling or looking empowered it would be better. You assumed I had a problem with their alleged sexuality, which is false. The picture is masculine but there is an obvious power dynamic shown through body language. I understand women are better versed in body language than men so maybe you dont totally understand because you're male.

It's def moist
^^^What were you referring to when you looked at the picture and commented with the above? What is "moist" about the picture? And even if it is "moist," who cares? Its two talented dudes sharing a moment.

SMH...no more mature, confident folks out here. Make such a simple pose/pic to be something it isn't.

I don't touch a mans head, nor do I let a man touch my head (pause). My pops was the only one who could even think of doing something like that and at this point, unless there's some extenuating circumstance, he won't do it...we too old for that but sheesh, everything aint gay IJS

Who do you think? I stated it in my many posts and even stated why in that specific post. - The subjects of the photo.

"Who cares?" If you don't, why even comment in a thread about the picture's said moistness? :heh:

Obviously, if there's a thread on it someone cares enough to 1. Make a thread and 2. See other people's comments and opinions on it.

Apparently the only attention black men are allowed to show each other is murder and violence. Sad that two black men touching one another leads some to immediately view it as something sexual. Do our

bodies function as nothing other than sex machines? Here only to provide sexual pleasure? The reactions to this picture are very telling....
That's the bullshyt that has us as hyper masculine. Two brothers embrace each other its reduced to prison homosexuality.

I wasn't commenting on the picture, rather peoples reaction to it. Also, you may have clarified why you thought the picture was "moist," but you never clarified why it

mattered that a picture with two talented, smart black men touching each other is "moist."

TYRONE GA!
The crazy thing about these photo shoots is they take a lot pictures and tell folks how to pose. I'm sure they took just some regular pics too. Vanity Fair editors looking over dozens of pictures in boardroom, and these jokers say "I really like the one with his hand on the back of his head, it has an intimacy, you know their relationship is close and all" :krs:....A few months ago, Ebony magazine had Black Thought and Questlove on the front cover and as the featured article, they were just posing standing or sitting next to each other......like men. So next time you in a photo shoot...:russ:......this is a lesson to tell the photographer no I don't feel comfortable with this pose :whoa:. ..."nah, let's not do that cuz" :martin:

Yup, them nikkaz got okey doked by some flaming cacs.

These people still choose what goes on front. It's a collaborative approach :comeon:
They pitch something but the celeb has to agree to it also:manny:
Now I can see the "problem" like everyone has pointed out with it but what's the real problem without all this reaching everyone is doing?
