Doesn't matter, a women that looks like her is gonna be rich, one way or another regardless of how she was born. Some rich simp was gonna marry her regardless. Or she was was gonna get popular doing something where people can look at her, like music, movies, modeling, etc.
Growing up in poverty changes everything even the way you look.

For real. We get caught up in the image of some Boujee items with ratchet mentalities. Like the only way that a black person should enjoy luxury is from ratchet activities on some Gucci Mane shyt :snoop:

This shyt infuriates me so much.

What's wild is, families have all kinds of dynamics. She may have had an excellent, stable home and had to deal with shyt from time to time. Her dad worked at Xerox so you know there were some things he had to deal with. Why can't people just be happy. You don't have to have the struggle of all struggles to be successful. You don't have to have the struggle of all struggles to be legitimate. You just need to be able to connect with ppl. :yeshrug:

A lot of black folks post 1988, have this mentality that authenticity can only be made through extreme oppression and poverty.

Top 1% today is about $500k, so $130k+ was definitly top 1% or very close back in the 90s.

That’s not 1% it’s upper middle class not rich or wealthy but very comfortable.
The very upper middle class are 1% too. In 2022 it takes just 500k to put you in the top 1% If the Knowls had an annual combined salary of over 200k yr in the 90's they were 1% and we are not even counting their assets such as their home and salon business. They are over 1% when you add in them assets. Adjuster for inflation their 200k+ salary in the 90's would definitely put them in the 1% category today even if they kids never became superstars

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
You can make the same argument about “wealthy” black neighborhoods. For areas supposedly considered black wealth the average salaries aren’t 1% status. Not downplaying them just saying tho

1. The shyt doesn't matter.

2. nikkas really need to stop glorifying getting it out of the mud, and then going on to detest kats that didn't have to, especially other black people. Now THAT is detestable.

Crabs in a barrel. People shyt on black kids from middle class households, but they the same ones that put their kids to private schools and live in those same quiet burbs! :wtf:

Why does this matter:dwillhuh:
Funny enough in the coliseum Ive seen dweeb ass nikkas say the same about Steph and Klay:skip:
And it’s one of the main reasons people hold Bron-Bron in such status because he got it out the mud:skip:
Ignoring that his sons are growing up just like the mentioned :skip:
If you are a parent it is your fukking duty to make sure your kids are prepared and well taken care of
Only this mentality of self made, mud talk reside in the black community
Newsflash
Nobody has done it by themselves
Nepotism should fukking be celebrated
People always want to talk about white supremacy this and that
But that’s one tenant I wish more of us used
Hire family and people that look like us
Take a page from their book
That’s how many groups have held on to wealth further out pacing us
While we still stuck on stupid about who real and who fake:pachaha:
shyt is sad as fukk:snoop:
If you a grown ass man still thinking with that straight out the mud rhetoric
You a whole ass dummy
Don’t @me I work hard so my child has the tools to be better than me
That’s what every parent should wish and want for their child(ren):unimpressed:
People were told growing up that anyone can go from rags to riches in one generation if they work hard and believe in themselves.
People dislike Steph and Klay because their existence exposes the rags to riches lie and causes cognitive dissonance.
They would rather focus and celebration on the 1 in a million cases like LeBron.
