I’m no government defender but let’s be real. No one forced or even nudged people to commit PPP fraud. If you were dumb enough to think you could trick the IRS with fake employees, fake addresses etc that’s on you. This is a crime you’d have to go out your way to research in order to attempt it lol.
IRS schedules out this stuff so you can “get away” with the fraud in January, not knowing that they already know but won’t pull your file until July. It’s a terrible idea and while maybe a couple people got away with it, 99.9% will be caught…
