I’m more scared of this than the actual virus. People being forced to stay home and out of work, no money for food or necessities, CDC staying stock up because they assume everyone has the money for it and people really don’t. More people could possibly starve to death or end up on the streets (I understand there’s supposed to be an eviction freeze, but landlords can’t be trusted) than die from the virus and it’s like nobody cares. Telling poor people to just ‘work from home’ and ‘stock up.’ Might as well tell them to just roll over and die.

Do i neg u now or later

He's telling the truth. There's no telling when those checks gone come in. And when they do come in how long are they really gone last? It's only $1500 for a family of 4. So what are you gonna do? Times like this yes it's best to get with family so everybody can contribute.

If shyt goes down it's time to toughen up. All that complaining and pointing fingers ain't gone get you nowhere. There's places that's still hiring, get what you can, and regroup with the fams.

Well landlords need sherifs to evict and before that you need to taken to court and let me ask you a serious question. How long will that take? 4 months minimum. With so many people out of work there will be a backlog. Then who is going to move into the vacant apartments? If everyone is out work they will not be rented.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Suspend bills or cut us checks or im gonna have to take food and money when my account dries up.

how you gonna tell nikkas they cant work but you still gotta pay yo bills :hhh:
Civics my breh. The ones telling you not to go to work are not demanding it. They “ask” or “suggest”. That way they are liable to anyone for making you not go. Your job deciding to do right and not operate is not a direct order from your governor nor president. So they also don’t owe you shyt.

And since they have not forced anything, they can’t then force companies to pay you or force them to let you go free on bills.

To say again. Nothing has been forced upon anyone yet. And that’s why they don’t want to

This is all well and fine for landlords that follow the rules and don’t just put locks on people’s doors :manny: your average poor people aren’t living in nice gated communities where the landlords follow the rules. If everyone is out of work to the point where they don’t pay it doesn’t matter either way if the space is vacant or occupied. Better for landlords to evict - even illegally - and try to get tenants in that will pay. Had to sue my own landlord in NYC years ago for doing illegal shyt like this, it happens every day, trust me (or don’t :yeshrug:). And subleasing/subletting which is how many poor people are living doesn’t follow all these rules anyway... usually when subleasing you can be evicted at will depending on the squatters rights of your state because *technically* you don’t really live there.

Can Amazon hire 100 million people? Can these hospitals take down the 30% unemployment rate? You not mathematically accurate. And that "survival of the fittest" mindset is how societies turn to Afghanistan and all form of order is lost. You wanting anarchy just for people to "bootstraps" themselves into working in a small handful of jobs left that cannot curb the majority of the newly unemployed.

Shoot me if you want, but you the one refusing to see what this is breaking down to.

Listen a landlord can’t do this I don’t where you live but you seem to be making this up as you go along. Change locks? Tenant calls the police and you are back inside. Plus the landlord catches a harassment charge . You say you live in NYC and you sued your landlord for doing illegal stuff so can anybody in any other state . Landlord can’t change locks without a court order and verdict. Now you going to say not everyone can afford a lawyer. There is legal aid . The reason I’m saying this is because I went through this 3 years ago . Landlord tried paying me to leave because it’s so costly to go to court . I ended up with 16 months free rent plus 80k to move . This was during normal times . Now it would take longer. I know you got more things but I’m done.

Ask or force? Well state wide shut in rules are asking you . I don’t know even think you have a clue about what you are talking about. So you saying if someone decides to go there job at hotel which was closed but the governor of their state to stop the spread of the virus isn’t asking . Hotel is closed but they showed up to do what exactly? Stand outside?

Didn’t say ‘change locks,’ I said put the lock on the door as in a padlock... if you don’t believe landlords put padlocks on doors, fine :manny: and by your own admission there is a backlog in the courts which is a two way street, hard to get a sheriff to evict, hard to get a sheriff to come down and fight an illegal padlock on the door as well. But it doesn’t even matter because if you are subleasing aka not actually on the lease there’s nothing a sheriff can do... And I literally just updated my post before you even posted this because I had a feeling you didn’t understand how subleasing works:

And subleasing/subletting which is how many poor people are living doesn’t follow all these rules anyway... usually when subleasing you can be evicted at will depending on the squatters rights of your state because *technically* you don’t really live there.

Poor people don’t follow these ‘rules’ and neither do unscrupulous landlords... And btw you don’t even need legal council in city court, you can represent yourself (I did). Keep licking boots tho :manny: you are definitely done
