Over the years the kid has lurked in the shadows and quietly put together a solid career. D-Wade told us the kid was special years ago and we didnt believe him. It's all fallen into place now.

Complete game for an SG and he's playing at a star, if not superstar level for years now.
  • He's got good range
  • He can jump out the gym
  • Oh.. and he's clutch too nowadays
I know there have been threads praising Derozan and the Raptors before but I never quite bought into the Kyle Lowry hype.
But that Derozan kid :obama:

The 6
KD on Bill Simmons podcast said DeRozan has the best footwork in the league, and that he is studying his movements to try to get better.

I jus wish he'd try on defense....hes from the james harden school of defense...you try to stop ur man 1 on 1 but when he gets by you and you have to move ur feet give up and let somebody else do it...

Derozan is dope and he has improved a lot over the last few years. Of course nikkas gonna come in here hating and not want to give credit where it's due.

Averaged 7 pts less than his season average against the Cavs in the playoffs and immediately after delivered one of the weakest sound bites I've ever heard from a "star" player. I dont want to hear shyt about Derozan
He came through in the series before

Kyrie has something similar to that about Demar.

I give him credit for making himself an all star in this league but yea that sound bite was all kinds of softness...

I wouldn't put too much into losing against the 2nd (or probably 3rd) best team in the league. Just wanted to put it into perspective.

It's more reflective of the team than an individual

Yea but the teams performance is a direct reflection of him not playing well....He bounced back in the MIlwaukee series but hes right DeRozan still does not play well under the bright lights in those big games when he has pressure on him...

When teams guard him close and force him 20 feet away he wilts, that is still an issue and a fair criticism.

My impression is that he's been given free reign on offense and hasn't been held accountable for much else.

Its as if the coaching staff is in constant fear that they'll lose their only superstar.

He's getting the Harden treatment but he hasn't earned that right.
