My impression is that he's been given free reign on offense and hasn't been held accountable for much else.

Its as if the coaching staff is in constant fear that they'll lose their only superstar.

He's getting the Harden treatment but he hasn't earned that right.

Thats exactly the problem with Casey and why its impossible to do anything now,Casey never held him accountable before he became a star on his defense.Now hes the veteran team leader nobody can tell him shyt and Casey has let it slide for years now he cant even tell him shyt...Casey from the beginning should have been pulling him from games and disciplining him for not trying defensively.

Now you cant do a thing about but hope he decides too do it...It looked awful when PJ Tucker came in last year and was getting on him about his D.

To me that made Casey look 3 feet tall.

The worst thing is that when Casey joined the team he did insist DeMar play D. As DeRozan has gotten better offensively, Casey has let him get away with more and more slacking on that end.

I also blame a lot about that Cavs sweep on Casey.

I think it speaks more about the Raptors as whole and Toronto sports in general.

The city has such difficult time attracting quality free agents that they're always in fear of any prospect bolting when they get the chance, they'll coddle any half-way decent all-star

derozan is like a star player from 15-20 years ago, he can get to the basket really well, can dunk the ball and make some flashy shots, got a mid range game, but no frikkin 3pt shot, not willing to pass the ball nor is he a good defender
