The rest of the world doesn't profit it from education :francis: I lived in a country where that was the case
That's not true. Education is hardly free. You have to pay school fees, uniform fees, food, transportation, etc. But again this was 15 years ago. Who knows.

Sitting in a class of 25, and you can tell that absolutely no one has read.
Can't have a good discussion, there are long pauses, and I've already spoken like 12 times.
Still have 15 minutes left.
fukk, man.

You chose not to go into computer science

Seriously though, whatever, you'll be the the one getting recommendations/remembered by your professors. Never forget that "peers" are your immediate competition :smugfavre:

I've had classes with these people for years, a lot of solid C students who think they can BS their way through.
The fukk I look like paying 40k a year to sit in class and look cool.

For the record: 40K/year for school expenses seemed hella low to me. When you account for room and board, most good schools start at 60K/year.

Ironically judging the quality of an education strictly by cost is fukking retarded.

One of the school I got accepted to,Virginia tech, is a top school for my program (engineering ) and would have spent 29k a year. Are you going to tell me VT is shot for engineering lol?

I'm telling you again, from experience. The government pays the school fees and transportation. The whole point of a working government are to provide these basic essentials to it's citizens

What government are you talking about? The developing world isn't one country. :stopitslime:

I fukkING HATE when teacher's make the class participate when it's obvious no one knows shyt. Dog, you're making this class insanely boring with the long quiet pauses. Teach what the others don't know and move the fukk on.
Why even come to class then? :dwillhuh:

And so? :stopitslime::camby:

I went to international schools in many "third-world" countries growing up. Education is a PRIVILEGE not a right in most of these places.
If you went to an international school, then of course all you were around were private schools and private school kids.
Check your privilege m'am.

In a programming class now, and the teacher was saying she has a 100% paid internship rate for her students.
The CS classes are so small here, most students get into the HTML/web design courses first and pretty much bail after that.
