Im leaching off someones internet right now . For some reason my computer can connect to any ssid named "Netgear" even when its secured.

Oh word? I'm using the same Netgear router since '05. I wonder if anyone else is using my shyt.

depends. the old netgear default password was 11111111 now the new netgears come with randomly generated words and numbers for passwords that they put on the routers and are secure out of the box.

if you wanna gateway a netgear its either HTMLCounter.com or 192.160.0.1 and the default name is admin and the password is password

Probly becuase the person that hooks up the internet now sets up the router password for you. When I called verizon they came out and dude was asking me to hook my laptop up. I was like nikka if you don't get the fukk out of my house so I can play call of duty. I can do all that bullshyt myself.

One of my neighbors still leaves theirs unsecured, but I don't even bother cuz My Comcast is muuuuucccchhhhh faster than theirs now. I did use it before back when I had the Comcast economy Internet. But I there that economy tier inter net in the cuz of the terrible speeds.
