Maybe once they're exposed to it they would be hooked :manny:

With the crazy amount of people there are in China, a few million are bound to become Pro Wrestling fans.

It's possible they'll garner some support if a Chinese person succeeds in the WWE. The Chinese generally don't support Western entertainment/sports unless there's a Chinese person involved in some way. In a lot of Chinese releases of American movies, they'll have Chinese stars appear in cameos or they'll have Chinese celebrities hype up the movies on TV before movies are released so they'll be public interest in what's coming. That's what they'll need to succeed in China, they need a Chinese person to be a on-screen presence.

That's a really good idea. The UFC did it with the Ultimate Fighter China but it aired on a premium channel. WWE actually airs on one of the biggest networks in China (Hunan TV). I'm sure if they did Tough Enough China before the Network launches in China, it would generate a ton of interest in the Network.

Phil Jackson is a great coach right? Probably the best ever? Would you keep him around after his 10th straight losing season? Or would you come to accept the fact that maybe it's time for a change?

Vince took losses on the XFL, The World restaurant, and so far on the Network, but the wrestling end has been profitable every year since at least 1995. Vince bought the company in 1983, I imagine he's made a profit at least 28 of the 31 years.

Wrestling is already dead. It died the moment Vince went public. From that point on it's been a slow decay.

WCW had it's most successful year ever only 2 years before it would go out of business.

It's not outlandish to assume the WWE could be headed down the same path. The value of their brand is nowhere close to what it once was.

NBC Universal just gave them a 50% raise on tv rights. You know that right? WCW and ECW died because Bischoff and Heyman couldn't stay on TV. That's it. Vince secured his at a raise
