Two of the best receivers in the league...they just happen to have different personas.

I see no need to downgrade one to big up the other...they're both doing the damn thing

although people painting the Dez situation as anything more than a player getting emotional in the heat of the moment have never played organized sports before at any level...teammates argue all the time...teammates get mad at each other, they yell at each other, but it's all part of the game...part of being on a team.

One receiver is more mature than the other.

I wouldnt go as far as calling Calvin a loser but the portrait being painted by Billick and dikk Stockton during the broadcast yesterday was that Calvin was a good humble negro who knew his place and Dez was an out of control animal who had yet to acquire the skills necessary to sit at the dinner table with the boss. "Look at Dez, still going off on the sideline. He is the exact opposite of Calvin". *After scoring TD.."Look at Dez, that ****** looks happy now"

I usually dont agree with you most of times (No offense) yo uare 100% on money and im not even a Cowboys fan :heh:

And Dez needs to have class and blah blah blah.

Calvin Johnson is a loser. His teams never win. If he doesn't want to call out the bullshyt on his team and if he's a classy loser that's on him. Nice guys finish last most of the time. Be like Larry Fitzgerald. If all you do is lose then you are a loser and if you are stuck on a team that loses all the time and you don't get pissed then you're use to losing.

And at this point Calvin Johnson got the contract the endorsements and a quarterback that always looks to get him the ball. In Dallas the concept of a number 1 receiver means nothing because Romo let's defenses dictate who he throws the ball to. There were at lest 3 plays where Dez drew single coverage or it was a soft zone and romo didn't even look his way. 3rd down plays. Plays that didn't work. Drive killing sequences. :snoop:

OP does have a few valid points tho. There is an element present in many whites (whether it be broadcasters, analysts, fans etc) that have an issue with black athletes asserting themselves or acting (like Dez did)

But when a white athlete does it a la (Brady, Manning, Brees) they are simply "showing leadership, being firey, showing passion etc)

Many whites have issues with black athletes asserting themselves and challeging white authority. Y'all gotta stop acting like this dynamic doesn't exist.

Many white folks want black athletes to act like Tim Duncan, Fitzgerald or be like Jason Taylor. (I'm NOT sayin something is wrong with them) But some white fols be on some "****** stay in your place" type shyt

The thing is nobody said the shyt don't exist it's just fukking annoying dudes soooo fukking worried about it. Cats acting like chicks where nobody can't say shyt without it being some type negative/hating/racism(in this case) behind it. That's my only thing about that dynamic where you become that damn sensitive where if you white you can't say shyt about how someone black acts and if your black and say something your a c00n. What kind of enabler shyt is that though. Nobody is immune from criticism.

I heard they had video of Dez wish I could see it since it wasn't on nfl.com when I played it.

They sure do and all these people who were criticizing him are looking mighty foolish..
I tried to watch but it wouldn't let me but as I said before I didn't really care about the other tirades even if they were negative which apparently they weren't. That last one though I don't care what y'all saying about that one nikka it's still time on clock hold that anger for 12 seconds then act a fool in the locker room if you, choose just not while time is left.

Everybody has a breaking point when it comes to losing. Same as when players sit and sulk on the bench or start crying. The game was OVER with 12 seconds left, and besides, his time and Dallas has exposed him to enough close losses to know when the game is over.
