you're the one complaining about them making your job more difficult, as if it's their fault they have to be mindful of what they're spending. that, as far as i'm concerned, is you being a snotty twat who's looking down on them.

Good thing I don't give a shyt what you think. You're just looking for attention and I've given you enough. Go argue with some more people on the subject

i think she meant those walmarts that arent really superstores and just have half an aisle for food and dont even sell eggs.
ive seen those in cali and ny.
but there are actually walmarts that are 50% grocery inside. so what she said was kinda dumb but yet true. :manny:

Heh, I see that at work a lot. People on medicaid complaining that their co-pay is $1.15 while they are sitting in a late model suv or sedan. It wouldn't bother me so much if they just paid it and kept it moving cause I know a lot of these guys are hustling the pain meds but when they sit there and complain it makes it that much more annoying. I salute those that are just trying to make due with what they have especially the mothers and fathers that are on medicaid and will pay the cash price for a med for their kids when its not covered.

complaining for a $1.15 copay thats less than the price of a gallon of gas is ridiculous. people like that should stfu. :what:

now complaining bc youre budgeting for food is different. that dollar that youre trying to hustle can get you 3 lemons or a quarter pound of cheese....

True. My mom worked for the state Family Independence Agency for 30 years before she retired and she said a big problem she noticed with her clients was people didn't buy food they can cook ( because they didn't know how or didn't want to) which in turn can last longer than buying a bag of pizza rolls or curly fries which are just snacks for kids. So when they buy a bunch of foods like that they have to buy a lot more to last the month until the next check. I might be stating the obvious but welfare is not meant to live off of when you look at how much they give you for expenses. It is mostly meant to help you while you get back on feet or supplement a low income if you have kids etc.

but the lower the income, the higher the pay out.... and honestly its a bunch of bullshyt.
someone can prove that 95% of their monies go to the home but because their income in is higher than 12,000 a year, they get nada in help.
then you have someone who has no job or a part time job and milk the system and gets fukking over $400 in food help for their one kid.
BULLshyt.
basically they are telling you 'please be lazy and we will take care of you  '

It isn't. What I was saying is that my adjusted gross income, is beyond the $75K limit at which you can apply your student loan interest deduction. The $2.5K max you can deduct wouldn't get me to limit at which I can deduct the interest either.

With regards to itemized reductions, what I meant is that I'm also not rich enough to use them because they wouldn't be greater than my personal exemption, so either way, I'm beyond the cutoff at which I'd be eligible for the interest deduction.

But that's not how it works. When you itemize your deductions, the goal is to figure out whether the allowable expenses you paid during the year – for things like home mortgage interest and property taxes, state income or sales taxes, medical expenses, charitable donations, etc.—exceed the standard deduction (not personal exemption) for your filing status.

If your itemized expenses are not greater than the standard deduction, than that just means you are going to get that amount covered in the standard deduction amount (unless you choose otherwise).

If you are filing single, then the government allows you to deduct 5,950 from your adjusted gross income. If you only have 4,000 in itemized expenses, you still can deduct that 5,950 in lieu of the actual itemized amount. It's not a question of being rich enough.

My Walmart (like many) stays packed and its not a supercenter;therefore, by adding the option would increase the wait time...as it is they only stay with 4 lines open..my opinion.deal:smugfavre:

Sounds like you need to step your income game up. :ld:

Making $60k+ and still buying with food stamps is weak, no matter the race. :youngsabo:

First off I make far less than 60k+ a year but now done gone and exposed yourself.

It's weak cuz who says so? What amount do you find acceptable for someone to make annually and still get stamps? Do you make 60k+ annually and if so what the fukk do you care about anybody being on food stamps?!?!

Bunch of white knights bytches up in this piece and I don't even know why when surely it's far bigger fish to fry out in the world than to worry about EBT abuses. :mindblown:

Because it holds up the line and they don't know how to bag. Don't put my shampoo with my lemons or my spices with my soap. That's my only gripe with grocery shopping at Walmart LOL!

You realize it's possible to be upset both with the rich who steal hard-earned tax dollars, and poor people who do the same?

It's not some choice where you choose one of the two to be mad at.

Anyone abusing welfare/ebt/whatever is a piece of shyt, period.

:blessed::blessed:

I feel like the clouds opened on this post.

Finally somebody gets it...you said exactly what I was thinking.

You can be pissed and against BOTH.

There's always some Avenger type nygga coming in here with that "why aint you upset at CEO's and corporate welfare who still get bonuses" talk whenever the welfare abuse topic comes up.

FOr some odd reason they feel a need to defend cats who rape the system right in front of them. In their eyes, the anger against this abuse is misdirected, and they couldn't be more wrong. When CEO's still got their bonuses after the bailouts people were PISSED and wanted reform.

We can feel the same way after observing people that we have personally observed abusing the system as well. I see it on a daily basis where I live. You have people purposely churning out kids to pump more welfare, and/or people just living reckless without an ounce of responsibility and/or some people who are just flat out lazy and don't care.
