I’ll say this.

There’s gonna have to be an end game for all these companies, bc A LOT of my associates in various industries complain about people dropping left & right. And the pressure it puts on them.

I’m seeing as we type a real shortage in the logistics chain, especially the transpo side.

People are done with the bullshyt & these scumbag companies are not only greedy $$$ but they want to be nosey & power trip. Doing a good job and being productive isnt good enough anymore, they want your life inside & out.
people forget in these last 2 years it's a lot of boomers that flat out retired. then people also forget a million people died from COVID. that's a million people just gone from the workforce entirely.

where's the breh that said he'd rather get eaten alive by wild animals than return to the office :laff:
these business parks are definitely hurtin... idk about anybody else but the one i'm in has been throwing 'party' type shyts a lot lately.
  • yesterday they had a costume competition, brought out a DJ/photo booth and served breakfast
  • last week they had a family movie screening
  • a few weeks before they catered lunch and free games
  • the muhfukkas came out with a app and digital survey

they down bad :damn:

Yup my job has been having free lunch at the cafe since Sept to try to lure people back in. :mjlol:

Like some $4 dry ass sandwich can beat the comfort of my own home / kitchen / bathroom. :laff:

The head of the company I currently work for called for everyone to meet up and do some “team building”. First time even seeing how a lot of these people look and I interact with them daily. Long story short, by the end of the meeting he was ranting and raving about how he misses this and may want to eventually go back to the office. Just say you’re lonely, cause there is no other benefit. For me, working online forces me to be far more productive. They are literally tracking everything vs my last in person IT job I could disappear for hours or just sit in the HR office and laugh with the older black ladies until something went wrong.

RETURN TO WORK IS ABOUT TAXES.

YOUR COMPANY GETS LOCAL/STATE TAX BREAKS FOR LURING WORKERS INTO YHE CITY ON A DAILY BASIS. THE GOVERNMENT RECOUPS WHEN WE SPEND MONEY AT THESE LOCAL BUSINESSES FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND SOMETIMES DINNER.

THE WORKFORCE GOING REMOTE ABSOLUTELY DECIMATED THESE CITIES THAT WENT BALLS TO THE WALL ON TECHNOLOGY PARKS AND OFFICE BUILDINGS.

PEOPLE NOT COMMUTING IS HURTING LOCAL BUSINESS AND GOVERNMENT POCKETS.

AND IDGAF... :heh:

this wasn't hard to figure out. adding a couple hour commute means employees have less energy once they are already in the office.
We're just going create more anxiety and depressed workers like before.

I remember prior to the pandemic, there were countless articles about how overworked and stressed american workers were...

Well now everyone has to get up at 5am to be on the road by 6:00-6:30.

Deal with traffic, accidents, construction, road closures, and bat shyt crazy drivers.

And this is all before even starting work.

Nvm the pretentious being fake nice and politically correct all day.

And then let's top it off by rushing to get home, where you have to deal with the same set of traffic.

I remember when I was in this cycle, I used to come home, barely have enough energy to order doordash, before I crashed for the night. Then did it all again the next day. :damn:
