I think I was the only one hype for those Kante & Abel albums::banderas::pachaha:
Nah I was fiending for that second album from them. I thought P was fukking up not pushing them more.

As far as this thread I thought both camps had dope MCs. Mia X, Mystikal, Mac, Fiend, albums were fire to me even if the production didn't always hold up. Even P had a hell of a mic presence. I'll never forget younger me for thinking Silk was one of the sickest MCs out. That Charge It To The Game album was a killer. Same with BG and Juvi at that time. One day I might have to do a run through again of all those albums.

What a stupid fukking take. MOST people can't even remember a single rapper on No Limit
IF you can't remember Mystikal Da Rapist, C-Murder, Snoop Dogg, Master P, Lil Romeo, Silkk Da Shocker, Mia X, Fiend, and Mac I don't know what to tell you.

By Light’s Out, Wayne was better than everyone on the entire No Limit roster except for maybe Mac on some technical rapping lyricism shyt. nikka was chaining multis for entire verses on singles.

Again Mac was the only NL rapping like, even mystikal who I was a huge fan of…was more flow and speed, than any kind of advanced lyrical mechanics

And as a pure songwriter (concepts, storytellin, etc), Juvi was as good as any of them from the moment he dropped Soulja Rags

Not buying this narrative that No Limit was some kinda powerhouse label full of spittas and Cash Money was just leaning on production…especially when no limits most popular acts were objectively trash (P & Silkk)

I'm a big Big Tymers & Wayne fan...but, we can't shti on the No Limit legacy.

Yes, WAYNE is one of the biggest artist ever. And that gives CMR a lot of points.

But, let's not act like No Limit wasn't killin' it because of the low points

The beats were the reason people even checked for No Limit. You think people listened to Master P rap doja and soldier over and over again for his lyrical prowess?
You being obtuse. 1. I never said the beats weren't good (though a good amount of BBTP shyt sounded cheap and basic, especially compared to Mannie shyt), 2. Master P was not a name brought up in the OP, so whats youre point here? 3. What does this have to do with the BBTP not being as good as Mannie?
