Just by looking at them my money would be on Jones. He's like twice French size and all muscle. French is lanky and looks like he's never thrown a punch in his life. They're both street dudes but Jones has been in mad fights. I've never heard of French being in a fist fight in his life.

Why would French have a one on one with Jim to begin with, is the real question?

Makes sense, but would make more sense for French to be on his ass than vice versa. They have bitter history.
But you dont see French clowning Jim. No, becuz that would give him attention. Jimmy wants attention because his career is in the gutter.
