id watch, but wouldnt be excited. 2009 yes, 2012 and they both :flabbynsick: im good

Floyd's old--and the jail thing probably means his physical deteroriation will increase greatly but he aint Larry Holmes status yet. He looked 100x better than Manny did in his last fight.

I hear a lot of folks talk about Floyd being in Jail and how that is going to be the death nail in his career coffin but you have to remember this dude took a two year break from boxing only to come back and whip JMM ass. I think he'll be fine during an 87 day jail term. I understand he is a bit older now but in the grand scheme of things 87 days isn't that long of a break and if he comes back weaker afterward, I think he would of been weaker anyways without it.

87 days in jail for a man who trains every day doesn't help but its not a career killer. Like the previous poster said he was off for two years and im pretty sure he didn't train every day then. I would still like to see the fight but not as much as i did in 2010. Hard to believe that its been almost three years since it was first really discussed. And while i always thought Floyd would win, no one can convince me that he wasn't a little (hell a lot) relecutant to get in the ring with Pacquiao. Now with Pac coming off a loss watch Mayweather come out talking about he was overrated the whole time. Then a few months down the line he'll finally agree to fight him. Only thing that scares me is if its anywhere near close i think the judges would give it to Pac to balance the Bradley decision, as well as to screw over Floyd's 0. If Pac is being aggresive but not landing and Floyd is backing up but potshotting him to death, the judges will give it to Pac for being the more aggresive figher and for proly throwing more punches.

Like I said before it happens cool if not :manny: neither guy needs it to legitimize their respective careers IMO.

Pacquaio does at this point people don't even remember the prime Manny anymore when he truly was great, everything post Oscar has been a charade, and has left a black mark on his career and the sport, form weight draining, catchweights, barring trainers from entering countries, chery picks, fix matches, bought judges, pulling out of fights to demand more money from fights 3 weeks away, to the blatant ducking; basically one big clusterfukk, which is why he tried to present himself as a preacher to repair that image..........

And to think Manny used to hands down be my 2nd favorite fighter, he needs to redeem himself, win or lose

Don't care anymore really. Not going to lie, I'd still watch it but I'm not excited for it. Pacquiao is past his prime. His last few fights have been unimpressive and lackluster.

Here are some fights I want to see happen
Nonito Donaire vs Guillermo Rigondeaux, Gamboa, abner Mares, Gary Russel Jr
Canelo Alvarez vs Cotto, Erislandry Lara

As far as Floyd, I'd still like to see the Amir Khan fight even though he got smashed on by Garcia. I think it would be a good fight for him to take when he comes out.

:rudy: Nobody wanna see that shyt.

Either way its gonna be a shytload of excuses and cop-outs for whoever lost

it'd either be "but manny aint in his prime no more"

or "but Floyd just got out jail doe"

really isn't anybody else for them to fight that would add anything to their legacy. Unless they're looking for a pay check, they should fight each other or else they might as well retire.
