a lot of classic Flip mixtape songs aren't on YouTube, for whatever reason. guess his fanbase died out before YouTube got poppin.. but anyway, there is a fire diss called "100 pounds soakin wet" with Clover G'z that he had out. i found the tape its on on datpiff but the songs don't load. might just have to upload it myself to YouTube, cause i got the mp3.

Steely Dan off of Peter Gunz and Lord Tariq's biggest song is a good one. Imagine making a huge single and not being able to cash in on it besides touring, especially when their careers died shortly after.

I like both groups, but Steely Dan really did em dirty with that. But understandably so.

TBH with Lord Tariq, Peter Gunz, and Biggie I would of never gotten into Steely Dan. I remember Donald Fagen's "Snowbound" was a favorite of mine as a youngin but I had no idea he was the second member of Steely Dan.

Legit pissed me off because I was a big Flip fan. I was cool with T.I. but after the beef.

Many of my friends were on T.I.'s side of the beef too which made things worse

At least JA stayed relevant for a little bit after 50. Flip nearly vanished from the scene

I waited forever for "I need Mine" to drop

I remember when that happened.

My friends who rode for Flip legit stopped fukking with him after that diss.

I did the same.


I was never a fan of his....he really was a cornball and T.I. played him so terribly it was just mindbendingly climactic,.
