When pops brought me a car at 17 it was a trash vehicle and at any point you may need a jump. When backing in your readily accessible 100% of the time. Since then I have backed in for over 15 years, hell it’s way easier to back in most the time especially if you have cars on both sides of a empty spot. It’s safer and quicker pulling in is for people who can’t drive.

At a 45 degree angle

Drive a couple spaces before the one you want and then reverse

I feel like weirdo dudes do it for some kind of cool points. As someone who used to have to parallel into small ass spaces on the daily I don’t get the hype behind flexing driving skills. i never understood the point of it. It's faster to pull in, then to back in, and it's also faster back out then it is to back in. Plus you more often need to park quickly then you need to leave quickly.

Unless you are planning a quick getaway there doesn't seem to be much of point to me.
