MTV and "The Real World" ushered in the era of reality TV along with the pathetic show Big Brother.

Once reality TV, which is not reality might I add, came onto the scene the true essence and innonce of the 80's and 90's was gone.

In terms of music, no era is seeing the 90s. Every genre was on point, labels mainly only recruited talented artists rather than wack asses putting themselves on like today
