I've always felt that it's way too easy to get a driver's license in the US. It's crazy how many people don't understand this simple concept. The rules of the road simply aren't stressed enough. I swear the only law anyone knows about is speeding.
People drive with no situational awareness. Every week day I deal with some combination of people trying to get into lanes when they won’t be getting off an exit for easily another 4 miles instead of letting the merge congestion minimize and then getting over as needed.
Lack of situational awareness is way worse IMO.

Straight up. I always tell folks there should be a law against General Obliviousness.
And don't get me started on the persistent brake tappers...if you don't realize that you can manage your car's speed using only the gas pedal or cruise control, you don't need to be driving period.

I've gotten so mad I've taken to crowding/tailgating people cruising 65-70 in the left lane on 95

such a simple concept, i dont understand how people cant get it. just manage your distance and speed and you will be able to get to any lane you wish without slowing down or holding traffic up
There is no fast lane you morons, it's some shyt impatient weirdos made up. Don't be mad at me you're in a rush to get to work, so you can spend the next 8 hours mad you're at work.

You're right and that's our point, but for anyone who's confused, here's a 3 minute video illustrating why the left lane should be restricted to passing only. First 90 seconds should be enough to get the point if you don't have the time
