Humans Beings are merciful and the best animals on the planet...If you think a dog "loves [you] unconditionally" you must have an emotional hole deep inside....Shat ain't logical...
Tattoos, pets, and excessive piercings have negative connotations with me...
I need to look up studies to learn if I am just biased or onto something...
By 'Them', I think you're referring to people with misanthropy who dislike the company of human beings and normally wish to become hermits or at the very least seek solace from human contacts by living with animals since animals naturally love the people that feed and care for them. Them lot are a bit different from people who would have, say a few dogs and cats while still maintaining relationships with family and friends on some regular shyt.
And a dog CAN love you unconditionally, man
. Heck, almost any animal you take as a pet has the potential to show genuine affection for you past simply relying on you to keep it housed and fed in a domesticated environment. Even cats, whom I personally think are the most selfish animals on the planet can show that type of genuine emotion. I take it you ain't ever had a pet or just disliked 'em? Cause you wouldn't be holding on to that stance if you ever had one of those 'I waited for you Fry', moments, man.
