See, I came in this thread to say it's the exact opposite for me. I HATE nikkas that abuse mechanics and play the game with zero integrity. I imagine there's a twelve year old across the country that's only watched a handful of football games whipping my ass in Madden because they like to cheese some shyt and convert impossible 4th downs, going for two EVERY TD regardless of situation, successfully onside kicking the ball, I mean you name it.

I uninstalled Madden a week ago for this very reason. I respect the kneel all day over this fukk shyt.
Remember back in the day nikkas would move player positions to cheese the fukk outta you with speed :dead: have Devin Hester playing every position putting up legendary numbers

The Falcons in their prime mighta been the most broken squad in Madden history :wow: we running the option all game, Vick/Dunn/Crumpler got 3 TD's a piece and you might even move Vick on 4th down and Field Goals so you can run a fake and just burn everyone :dead:

I don't play videogames anymore but when I did, I would run the play clock down on every single play and every single possession of the game. While most people who play Madden are trying to score as much as possible, I'm trying to hold the ball and limit your possessions. I start bleeding clock from the opening kickoff.

I literally ran the ball 90 percent of the game. If you elected to receive the first possession of the game and didn't score the game was all but over because I would essentially use up the entire first half of the game, score a touchdown and then after getting the ball back after halftime, I'd do the same time. I'd win every game 14-0, 14-7, 10-7, 10-3, 7-3.

It's actually a source of pride to keep these games as low scoring as possible.

I realized that it's actually more demoralizing than beating someone by 20, 30, 40, 50 points because the opponent literally never sees the ball. It completely sucks the fun out of the game for my opponent and makes them suffer. It's a slow death. In a 20 minute game with 5 minute quarters, I'm holding the ball for atleast 15 minutes......you essentially have to score every time you get the ball otherwise it's going to be a long day.

I also go for it on every 4th down and my philosophy is basically that I want to pick up 3.5 to 4 yards on every single play and bleed clock the entire game.

I also take kneel downs at the end of the game lol

Damn i was coming in here expecting OP to mention something different. But that shyt is hilarious, you supposed to stomp a mufuka to death aint no sportsmanship

I thought he was talkin about folks who gotta spend 2 minutes before the game making all the adjustments. (Coli 2K league neegas)

Or the mufukas on Madden who slide protection, call 3 hot routes, motion dudes back and forth etc

I stopped playing madden online for this reason after madden 09 and 10. There was a play on offense in the pats playbook with 2 receivers lined up on the left, 1 tight end off the right tackle, & 2 in the backfield. It had both receivers running slants over the middle, 1 back running a swing route, out of the backfield, & the right end running I think a curl route. Receiver #1 got wide open over the middle 8-14 yards downfield guaranteed every play no matter what coverage you call. Every online player would use their playbook no matter what the team was and would spam this play the entire game or scramble with Michael Vick or Vince Young. :scust: doesn’t begin to cover it.

It was just as bad on defense if not worse. The pats had a formation on defense in their book with the nose tackle, 5 linebackers, & 5 defensive backs where 4-5 guys rushed and the guards would fail to pick up the interior blitz at a near 90% rate so you’d get sacked before the qb could even finish his dropback and they’d spam this play too :pacspit:. Then I saw a bunch of players do even worse with Pittsburgh :hhh:. They’d move Woodley and Harrison to defensive ends and Brett Keisel and Brett Keisel to defensive tackle before running a dime coverage with 4 down linemen like a 4-3 defense with the ends playing qb spy and this would somehow pull the offensive tackles and guards near them so you got guaranteed pressure up the middle with a 2 man rush while 9 guys sat in coverage. Couldn’t run against that formation either because the 4 guys on the line all had 90+ for block shedding and they were giving James Harrison an 85 for speed which was in line with possession receivers back then :scusthov:

You’d see 1 play on offense and 2 plays on defense all fukking game :snoop:
