I rather have the problems that come with having money rather than the problem that come with being broke
Money won't make you happy... Well it will intial
Not having any money will make you miserable... Unless you have never had money
Truth be told, some of the best times I've had in my life were when I was broke.
If you have ever had money, lost it, and got it back again. You realize that you don't need nearly as much stuff/money as you think you do.
At the end of the day, if all my bills are paid and I can afford a blunt and a pint of hennessey I'm good![]()
In economics there is a concept called marginal utility, which means that an item loses value to the individual as it increases in volume and number. (buying your 7th car, would bring far less satisfaction than your first car).
That can be spread towards the concept of money in general. Of course when you first accumulate some bread, those first few purchases are meaningful, but after awhile money starts to lose its relevancy to your happiness because there are only so many things to buy, as you because used to having money and resources.
Its at this point money depreciates rapidly in value, and actually becomes that mo money mo problems ish Biggie warned us about --- you start attracting girls that are only interested in your wealth and will be on the first thing smokin when the find someone with more, you start losing and gaining friends and fam based on fiances, you lose an appreciation for the smaller things, etc --- and for what? An accumulation of a bunch of meaningless crap like IPads, and rims that doesnt mean sht in the grand scheme of life?
Nobody is saying luxury is a bad thing, or living comfortable is wrong --- but this overvaluing of money has been the number 1 culprit behind so many tragedies, heart ache, crime, and depression.
Many rich people commited suicide.
yall think its moreso the stress of maintaining/earning money
or having money in general?

Did You Not See Where I Put "Outside Of Extreme Circumstance"?
nikkas will find any reason to be satisfied with mediocrity. I used to be extremely broke and them days were the saddest years of my life. fukk that money makes u sad shyt. Being broke makes u irrelevant!
People aren't satisfied, they want more, and with more money comes added responsibilities. Generally speaking, people who aren't filthy rich live above their means which puts added pressure on their lives.
What exactly is so extreme, he offed himself despite being a millionaire and having no outward signs of trouble.
There's research data that shows countries with more wealth have more depressed people, they must not be purchasing enough happiness.
Yea but Im happy to be well off, bc there's a lot of poor mothafukkas who can't afford anti depressantsYou were happy off the feeling of getting up. But when that dies down, youll realize that money wont keep you happy. Theres a bunch of rich mothafukkas on antidepressants![]()
He's the only person that knows what goes on in his life. You cant look in from the outside and make conclusions about a person's life. But i guess you're the type of person to just make assumptions and jump to conclusions.![]()
