Firstly it's a machine that can cause severe injury or death to the driver and/or other road users

Then there's all the informations that must be understand and followed religiously and even if you are a fast learner who picks up information quickly, you
still need confidence behind the wheel and that's something that takes time and plenty of practice for the vast majority to develop and some may never develop it

And after that, you still need to pass the practical test, then hope all the road users you will encounter won't be bad drivers or idiots who will force you to brake sharply or making last minute adjustment which can have severe consequences

The way experienced drivers make it seem like something must be wrong with you if you can't learn how to drive effortlessly and pass your test at first try

you can look up every dmv testing route on youtube and the passing rate for each to determine which route is statistically the easiest in your area. pick a route you like and go there to practice it. just work on merging and your turning, because other than those couple of situations, you're really just going in a straight line.

At 13 my big cousins had me going to the store for them, I guess it is a different story for everybody.

I could see how anxiety can be whopping your ass though, especially because your not only driving for yourself but other people.

Different strokes for different folks I guess..once I figured out the car moves even if your foot not on the gas it was a breeze..

Knew how to brake from go carts..

Learned how to drive cars at like 12-13

But you don't choose which route you will get on the driving test, the examinar does
