people who say driving is easy are the worst, there's nothing easy about it from a new learners perspective

Driving isn't even the hard part. It's the other cars. 1 million different agendas and temperments all on the road together. shyt's chaotic.
This. Once you learn the brakes pressure and how to let the wheel come back to center, its pretty easy. Learning other drivers temperaments like when they're about to pass without signaling is the hard part.

As long as you don’t let any other car on the road push you around, you’ll be fine.

I started driving at 18 but I'd say I didn't become "experienced" until I was 25-26 after driving on the highways in Miami for a couple of years. Like everyone else said, watching out for Speed Racers and dummies is the most difficult and nerve-wracking part. Driving itself is easy.

Edit: Example -- going to work last week. We have the green light and are just coasting down the road. This yt woman on the opposite side makes a U-turn into incoming traffic and instantly hits the lady in front of us. I swear it was the dumbest thing I've seen someone do on the road.

But you don't choose which route you will get on the driving test, the examinar does
the examiner sticks to the same route, but will ask you when to merge at random times, once to the left, and then once to the right. remember that other than merging and turning almost all of the driving test, and driving in general, is just you, sitting in a chair, going in a straight line. thats it.

t-dot till they bury me
Driving on its own is easy :dahell:
What's difficult is navigating when there are others on the road
Lots of people lack spatial awareness, reactionary actions, muscle memory, anticipatory thought
Defensive driving tactics should be at the forefront of any training you take
Always assume the guy/girl next/in front/behind you is an idiot
