Wore glasses more than half my life to the point where my eyes/head hurts when I take 'em off for extended periods of time. :sadcam:
But then again I'm blind as shyt:lolbron: and my lifestyle doesn't cater well to Contacts since I've a habit of falling asleep as opposed to just going to bed. Plus I never got used to taking out and putting in contacts and the whole nine. I've enjoyed wearin' glasses the last few years since I began buying oversized, Vintage sunglasses and converting them into prescription. :troll: And if you play sports and need glasses, you can always order a pair of them sports goggles (Oakleys sell some good ones) and have them fitted with your prescription so you wouldn't have to risk damaging your regular pair.
This vid helped me immensely.

When I first got my contacts they watch you put them in. It took me forever lol, now I'm good.

I have a severe astigmatism in both eyes but wear contacts 99% of the time because the lenses for my glasses are thick as hell, people always stare at my glasses and low key clown. (My vision is like a -15 in both eyes)

With that said frame designs have come a long way the last 10+ years. The key is to find frames that fit your facial features, your style and personality. to do that you may need to go to a lot of places to find what you need. Once you give the frames you like, note the style and buy them online. It's easy cheaper.

I found frames I love I just wish the lenses didn't look so thick but it is what it is. People will deal with my mr. Magoo level lenses

Breh, it's crazy to me how glasses were 'nerdy' or lame when I was younger but then when I get older it becomes a style. That shyt is :hmm: to me, people rocking glasses that didn't have to go through the name calling or the vision changes.

Everything becomes a style eventually. I'm gonna start rocking a chef hat for no reason, about a decade or so from no it'll become a fad. Not because of me but in spite of me. :smh:
So true. LOL.

I blame hipsters.

I wear contacts but they've been acting up lately.

Thinking about swinging by the Warby Parker store and checking out a new pair of glasses.

I don't have any issues with my glasses and people who don't even wear glasses like that are wearing them because it's apparently in now.
Isn't it funny?

The same people that hated on people that wore glasses want to wear them and people that wear glasses don't want to wear them anymore.

I just like the fact that with contacts I can do alot more...like wear non-prescription sunglasses.

Never had a problem getting girls in them..
I can't stand contacts and the thought of putting something over my eye.
My girl finds it cute when I do this

Saved that incase I ever go the contacts route again, much thanks.
My uncle recently got some new lenses (Toric, I think? Not sure) that he's raving about. Supposedly they give him near perfect vision and they are more durable. Contacts have come a long way since I tried 'em back in like 2002 for that one week. Don't look forward to touching my eyeball and all that watery blinking, though. :scust:
