Honestly not as much as i used to. At times i hate them. Im getting contacts tomorrow.

People see a black dude with glasses= Urkel

We have yet to see a commercially successful brotha out there that makes glasses look cool like a Stephen Colbert type.

Im better looking without these things anyways and have more confidence without em. Plus i cant really enjoy phsyical activities and playing sports without worrying about these falling off my face.

Usually when ppl link black men and glasses to Urkel that means the glasses aren't flattering and ppl want to be a dikk and point that out. I've seen very few black men pull off those thin mental rimmed glasses because they are too small for out facial features. I've seen black men look sexy AF with glasses though.

I will agree that it's hard to play sports or enjoy physical with glasses though. I had to wear my glasses for a month and couldn't do a lot of the exercises I enjoyed at the gym because they were in the way

That's reasonable. Ever thought of buying frames online? That's what I started to do since I felt less confident finding a pair of frames I liked when I touched down in America and would often resort to having to pick the frames I had the least and rock with that. Found alot of nice frames cheaper too.

I've got a broad face so I hate them thin, librarian/hipster type shyts dudes who don't need glasses wear for style purposes that seem to make up like the common stock of shyt you'd find in there these days...and they costly and I fukkin' hate buying 'em. The pair ontop is the last pair I bought from my Optometrist (My everyday/work glasses). The front left are the ones that will eventually replace the regs when they die and the right is my Vacation/party/travelling oversized specs that prompted me to buy those two vintage ones in the back on some Aviator frames/lens tip. Both non shade frames are under a hundred.

Hopefully you ain't as blind as me and got to pay the equivalent of a fat person taking up two seats on a plane like I do when I get my glasses done 'cause of this shyt.
