I just checked my old pictures. Looks about it took me 3 1/2 months to get ear length.


But I exercise, mind my business, and drink water all building blocks of hair growth.

First off you can start off by not referring to them as dreads and instead call them locs.

Man I cut mine off but use to sit on them would just be annoying even having them in a pony tail . I would get a serious cut maybe every two to three retwist and they right back to normal . I cut them but I had them for over a decade .

I've had mine going on 2 years. It's to my shoulders now, hoping to be mid back/chest area by summer, that's where I'm stopping.

Understandable. I feel like I’m on the brink of cutting mine as well, however I feel like I’ll miss out on the styles I can have at this length. On the other hand I did cut the sides in 2018 and I kept them in a bag and my stylist can re-attach them so I’m pretty set on cutting the hair I have left, because it can reach my ass if I tilt my head back and like you said earlier this shyt gets heavy but I grew it kinda for that reason.
