The number of rappers, atheltes, and famous ppl is ridiculous for it's size. You can chalk the rappers up to NWA family tree making the city popular and marketable. But how do you explain the number of professional atheltes from there?

I don't believe so, but I suppose it's possible. I know it's very tiny. Especially when you consider people like the Bush family are also from Compton. I cant recall which ones were born there, but I know some were.

I think it's LA in general, but it's kinda hard to quantify because of transplants. But folks from LA/Compton are predisposed because they're around other celebrities. It's an ecosystem for it.

It can’t be LA. The city of Compton has LA beat (per capita) by a landslide.

LA has almost 4 million people and most people we know don’t actually be from LA.
