Dalton has decent TEs with Jermaine Gresham and Tyler Eifert, but let's not pretend like they're top 10 TEs. They're not. In fact, I'll name 10 TEs off the top of my head who are better than those two combined...

the only sport where i would keep my high first round pick rather than trade it for proven vets is basketball. in the NFL, you can find just as good if not better players in the 2nd thru 4th round. 1st round NFL picks are not that meaningful because the gap in talent is not that much.
in the NBA, the gap in talent between guys going top 5-10 in the lottery vs. late 1st round is MASSIVE. thus, those picks hold way more value. in the NFL, you can find a Tom Brady in round 6, a terrell davis in the 6th round, a richard sherman in the 5th round, etc.
1st round nfl draft picks = worthless
