Cell has comeback multiple times and got killed, great concept and all but nah the true g.o.a.t is Freeza , MF is just evil as fruckkk , came back twice and now that MF is into training and is strong as fukk. Just to paint the picture , he caught up from below ss1 level to God In 4 months of training and now he found a pocket dimension and trained for 10 years Beerus might have to step in to stop him

Frieza the first one I think of when I hear the word Overlord. Goku'nem was fighting for their lives during Frieza's reign. They didn't even give a fukk about anything after surviving that shyt. They were just fighting Cell just to do it. Cuz they were bored and welcomed the competition. Cell saga was cool an all but he wasn't blowing up planets. He was just suckin the life outta nikkas pause.

Accomplishments:

Outsmarted and defeated Vegeta

counterpoint: he's so smart but ended up dying because he wasn't smart enough to realize the same way vegeta shouldn't have allowed him to reach his perfect form is the same way he shouldn't have let Gohan get angry enough to achieve SS2

The whole android saga was pretty much just nikkas playing with their food and not finishing their plates

Vegeta could've killed cell, but he fukks around and actively tries to make cell stronger, and then gets his ass beat

Goku has a full on battle against Cell, and then wears him out enough that cell is actually tired from their fight. Goku proceeds to give him a senzu bean

Cell can clearly kill gohan and everyone watching the fight, but he gets intrigued by gohan's bad temper and fukks around trying to get him angry

Gohan achieves SS2, and outclasses Cell easily. Even hits him so hard he spits out Android 18, and loses his perfect form. Gohan STILL doesn't think it's enough to just kill him so he continues to toy with cell until he blows himself up, killing Goku and King Kai in the process. Cell is able to regenerate and thanks to the saiyan cells in his body, learns Goku's instant transmission, and comes back to earth even stronger than before zenkai-boosted
