Cacs: "Shedeur is too slow to evade NFL passrushers. This isn't college, and his daddy can't save him"

*goes off to evade pass rushers in his first start and throws a 50-yard pass* :heh:

He also was rolling out and facing pressure when he made the pass to Juedy.

Well I mean the first game was an abysmal performance, and this one was a solid game against the worst team in the league atm where their defense got 10 sacks. He made a great throw too I recall. Most people were clowning because he played bad and his cult fanbase was making 50 11 reasons for it, moreso than any type of persisting feeling of thinking he will always fail.

what do you want people to say, he a future hall of famer? From this game? He played solid and they won and looked better than Gabriel has. What more do you want :mjlol:
Well you can tell when they tried to be the Ravens vs Shedeur and he beat them downfield on that long pass they slowed that shyt up lol. He can do that everytime a team tries that now if his OL can hold for a little bit. We will see what happens with SS going forward, I just think going from “see we told y’all he’s not good, he’s definitely a 5th rounder” last week to saying “it’s just the Raiders“ this week is hilarious. Bro is literally a rookie… he’s figuring it out before our eyes. I’m still wondering where he and this team would be if Shedeur started earlier because their division is not good, meanwhile Cleveland is wasting a good defense with a dude putting up historic numbers.

I don't think either Sanders or Gabriel are very good QB's, but I really don't understand how someone can think Gabriel is better than Sanders. I think Gabriel is absolutely horrendous. Even if you don't believe either are very good QB's, I'd say Sanders can make plays that Gabriel can't.

I would be shocked if Sanders is not starting next week. Not based on his performance, but you can see how his teammates reacted to him during the game. You see how Myles Garrett was reacting. You can't go back to Gabriel this week.

I mean realistically you don't even need a good qb with that defense. If you can score like 17 points you probably in every game.

Gabriel is hot ass, and this at least showed that Shadeur can play non hero ball so he is a considerably better option, but the Shadeur stanbase will come at your head for saying he played better than his last game :mjlol:

The nikka threw a screen 2 yards and yall talking about his td pass :mjlol:

Every QB gets credit for those. Last week, Josh Allen had two of those, to James Cook and Ty Johnson.

Cleveland players looked absolutely energized yesterday, and honestly they been riding with Shedeur since preseason.

Dillon Gabriel on the other hand, was throwing shots at Shedeur in the preseason talking about "some of us are entertainers", when the question had no reason for an answer like his.

This is Shedeur's starting job to lose. If his coach is smart, that is.

I think there are too many people that can't have a discussion about Sanders without keeping their head in the sand or coming up with these absurd conspiracy theories. There are absolutely people that don't want to see Sanders do well, there is no doubt about that. However, anytime someone has some sort of criticism or thinks he's not elite, you get a bunch of people going at you and coming up with this insane theories.

I just can't take serious anyone who actually thinks that an NFL head coach (especially a two time coach of the year) is going to INTENTIONALLY sabotage a QB that might give his team the best chance to win. It makes zero sense, and that's where these discussions go off the rail..

Again, I don't think Sanders or Gabriel are very good, but Sanders clearly has a higher ceiling than Gabriel.

Kid has a lot of potential, he just needs a chance. His confidence and motivation to succeed may be what takes his game to another level eventually.

I will say Im surprised how off rhythm he is as a passer. Thats why his completion % is so low right now.

Just constructive criticism of his play.

As defenses get more film he's going to have to hit that back foot and release the ball quicker. Raiders let him slip contain a couple times, but thats not something to bank on.

Most of his pass yards came on two scrambles and a screen pass. Im hoping thats just from a lack of practice and not Shedeur not seeing it quick enough. We clown Jeudy but he was getting fed the ball last year with Jameis.

Happy he got the win. However, his QBR was 8.7. I want him to claim the job or be in high demand for a trade. The operation needs to be smoother (and you hope the big plays still happen as well)
