I mean, how else do you think people are supposed to take the word sabotage? It's a very specific word. There's a difference between incompetence, not liking someone, and sabotaging a QB. You can't say someone is being sabotaged and then say you are talking about incompetance. Two completely different meanings, and they are portrayed completely differently.

As I've said numerous times, I don't think Gabriel is an NFL caliber QB. I truly don't understand what people saw/see in him other than MAYBE being a backup. I don't think Sanders is great either, but I think it's clear his ceiling is higher than the ceiling of Gabriel. I don't think there's any question there.

Thing is… On the first day of training camp Stephanski came out publicly and said “this is an open QB competition”

Then in training camp there was a clear preference in who was getting reps and when and it was Sanders getting the worst of it.

As you and everybody with eyes can see Sanders is the better player, and everyone praises Stephanski as a good coach, so then why the hell does it make any sense he didn’t get a start until week 12???

For black folks in America when something stinks and is not adding up logically the default is to think it must be racism cause that’s what make people behave in an illogical manner.

Folks love to say KS is 2 time coach of the year. That means he knows exactly what he is doing. He doesn't get to use the incompetent excuse. DG has been given every opportunity to succeed and treated like a 1st round pick from day 1. He never earned anything. DG was getting first team reps as QB3 behind flacco and pickett. Shaduer was thrown in his 1st preseason have with no prep and balled out. He didnt move up the depth chart or get rewarded for it with more reps or even any praise from KS. Then they threw him in the 2nd half of the rams preseason game with 3rd and 4th stringers. I think less than 5 of those guys he played with made the actual Browns rooster, but that was the game everyone likes to point to as justification for everything that happened before and afterwards. On top of that they changed the offensive play calling from the safe dink and dunks and max protection they ran for DG to plays that took longer to develop with 4 to 5 step backs and a weak o-line. Then 2x coach of the year KS benched Shaduer in this meaningless preseason game so he couldn't get the 2 minute drill to redeem himself. Every coach and player said they would only serve to hurt his confidence and was a bad call. Surely 2x coach of the year knew that. It was intentional.

The reason folks say its racist cause black folks can relate to what is going on. In corporate america you gotta 2x as good as your white counterparts to get half the credit. Then you get passed over on promotions even when you out perform everyone else (Like Shaduer did in training camp). Then they gaslight and tell you that you don't smile enough or not a team fit to justify their actions.. They will look at a everything but the actual quality of the work you do and continue to move the goal post everytime you succeed.
