This whole article feels like an elaborate troll job. 
No, he's gone from having a presentable line to being balled at the edges before, and then back again
also his line is not perfect by any means, you can clearly see where's bald at in the same spots
I'm guessing he spent time wearing a hat in the off season and grew his hair out to where he had a small spots in his balding area, and the barber cut the down the rest to blend in that level he also pushed his hairline back so from the front it looks like he has a line, but if you looked down at it you can clearly see he's struggling bad

i know it sounds crazy. but thats why i prefer going to one barber cause i dont have to explain myself. but to me, round or square i could care less. im not a difficult customer. keep it dark. i think thats a 1 1/2 or a 1a. cut it with the grain. shave facial hair and thats it. if i was in philly they dont ask all those questions. if they keep my beard thick ill tell em take it down. i dont even have to ask for the razor.. here in minnesota, if you dont ask, they dont bring it out.

and he went back weeks later looking bald as the 2013 photo, look it up
also in the last picture you can cleary see his line is pushed back and it's not full at all
before his bad barber who probably cut the little baby hair he had off because they didn't know how to blend, so he would look bald like that because he was, they cut the hair off
now he has a good barber who doesn't do him like that
