This isn't good advice for everyone tho.

My gf has one cc she uses for everything... It was all good, but lately she's gotten popped twice in a few months bc someone used her card fraudulently to buy food from Uber Eats.

So then her card has to be canceled until they can send her a new one. If you don't have a backup cc then you're screwed

I mentioned debit, and always having cash in hand. You should always have at least 2k in cash monthly (rent, utilities, food, etc).

Practice impulse control. Discipline your mind from aimless purchasing.

Ask yourself these questions 1.) What's the purpose of this item? How will this help me in the future? Why should I invest in them?

Invest your money towards side hustles that will bring passive income. Recommend re-selling shoes, selling pallets, reit
s/real estate/Airbnb's,
affiliate business, making rain/low-fi videos on Youtube (the market has been saturated...may need to find another niche similar),

If you're starting with a CC start with Capital One. It's like the beginners mode of all credit cards. Once your credit is decent move your way up. My credit is shot due to past transactions I'm fixing that currently.

Invest in a travel CC. You get points rewarded

If you're dating less is more. Have a budget planned. Splurging not only gets you rejected also a depressing wallet. Save save save. Avoid gold diggers.

Great points made throughout the thread.

Personally, many of my movements changed when I decided to not care what others think & forego trying to impress them and, additionally, realizing that the proverbial Joneses you see in society are most likely broke.:manny:
