Machines have threatened human jobs for years, but in an odd evolutionary twist, death row prison guards in Indonesia now have to worry about crocodiles putting them out of work.
That's right, according to the U.K. Guardian, Indonesia's anti-drug czar wants to build a prison on an island and staff it with crocodiles because, as he correctly explains, "You can't bribe crocodiles."
"You can't convince (crocodiles) to let inmates escape," Budi Waseso told local media, the Guardian reports.
Waseso reportedly plans to search for the croc guards himself.
"We will place as many crocodiles as we can there," the Guardian report quotes him. "I will search for the most ferocious type of crocodile."
The proposed prison, reportedly inspired by a croc-filled island in the James Bond film Live and Let Die, would house death row drug convicts, the report says.
