He's about to be the oldest NFL coach ever and we just saw what happened to the oldest NBA coach ever ... huge stroke and he hasn't been seen since.



Coaching pro sports is way too strenuous for an old man, why not college or high school as an option?

Pete's gonna be 74 by the time the start of the season rolls around. I think he's still got something on the fastball but I'm not sure I would've gone this route if I was the Raiders. NFL is a young man's game, both on the field and off it

The thing with Pete’s energy and approach ‘going stale’ is that’s only to dudes who already heard it and/or vets. But for a young team that shyt will be infectious. Harbaugh in LA is a perfect example.

Ol Petey always cool with me from the days of being the architect of swag of THE GREAT USC but this can’t be anything more than him repairing the decayed staff and coaching infrastructure.

Best case scenario is he’ll help set a higher standard while grooming a young talented coach to take the reins after a few years. Most likely scenario is this too will be a spectacular failure and we’ll be talking about the same shyt all over again.

Probably the best hire they could have made Younger coaches with options not gonna touch that dumpster fire.

Pete philosophies are outdated but he know how to build a culture and run a program which is what they need there more than anything else
