i now forgive them for leaving "trying off". This album is crazy. There are only 2 songs I won't be listening to fully, but they've got a winner here. Best hip hop album I've heard this year so far. I see Pete Rock up to his old bullshyt again with wasting hot beats as outros to songs . 5 out of 5 for me. shyt I may order an additional copy on vinyl and not open it

This feels like Common finally went back to the drawing board. Production wise I haven’t heard this Common since Dreamer/Believer. So glad to not hear any Macy’s Parade commercial beats.

Good album. I felt a few of the songs were boring, but the rest ranged from good to great. Common sounds rejuvenated, and Pete, goof he may be, is one of the best to ever touch a sampler. 8/10

It’s also refreshing to hear an album with songs way past two minutes, which multiples songs either having 3 traditional verses, or two lengthier verses. Every song sounded complete and not feeling like a song instantly ends then cuts to the next.
