He's a NYC dj of course he plays mostly east coast musicHis sets still feature mostly east coast artist![]()

Nah he has to play the hits to stay employed. In the mid 90's Flex was really on that purist shyt. He would shyt on Shaq and Deon Sanders for trying to rap. When Meth and Rza did that song with Shaq Flex was like 'its a good look for Shaq but a bad look for the wu." He would break down how Kris Kross was big but they were put together and weren't official.
But then the nw millinium came in and the south started shaking things up. Next thing u know Flex is playing "EI" by Nelly.
Flex playing Nelly didnt look right but eventually Flex started straying from that "purist" shyt and got on some "i'm playing whatevers hot" shyt. Nowadays Flex justifies why he spins the hottest records that in the 90's he woulda shytted on.
He single handedly destroyed it. Pete Rock says it in the tweet.Somebody school me on what Flex did to NY radio/hip hop culture and don’t be fukk!ng vague I’d like to know what actually went down
These nikkas too old to be acting like this. Pete still sending subliminals at Nas too. Just making himself look bitter.
