they literally offered both the same exact contract. 2 years, $10 million guaranteed. Amendola's just comes with 3 extra unguaranteed years (basically a team option)... they also probably adjusted the numbers on the back end of the deal to make it look like Amendola will get paid more than Welker annually, but it doesn't affect how much Amendola will actually get paid, because he'll never play out the entirety of the contract before getting cut or restructuring his deal before it's over

They will. I'll give you avril, but Percy is not mid-level. We needed a pass rusher, we got one. :heh:

Why in the world would Welker get a deal that long, no one offered him that. He got 10 million guaranteed, the same money Welker was going to get, but with more years. If he's injury prone, then he gets cut :manny:

Basically, if he does become Welker they got him at the same salary they felt Wes was worth, if he doesn't, he gets cut.

It was a good move. I don't understand how you ignore the guaranteed numbers.

dont mean to jump in yalls convo, but the bolded arent better than harvin. percy hasnt had a good qb to throw him the ball. plus he can do more
