Denver Broncos reportedly interested in free agent RB Rashard Mendenhall
Signing a running back in free agency is one of the Denver Broncos’ top priorities, and they could find a fit in former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall, according to The Denver Post‘s Mike Klis.
The 25-year-old two-time 1,000-yard rusher is one of 12 to 15 free agents the Broncos have identified as a potential fit at the right price, Klis is reporting. Their current backfield consists of starter Willis McGahee, who is recovering from knee surgery and a broken leg at 32 years old, and backups Knowshon Moreno and Ronnie Hillman.

I ran into @NFL agent @davidcanter earlier. He's working the phones on CB Sean Smith's behalf. Keep eyes on San Fran, KC and Philadelphia.

The Patriots want to wrap-up a deal soon to keep free agent cornerback Aqib Talib in New England. But the Patriots will have competition for Talibs services.
The Redskins will make a push to sign Talib if he doesnt re-sign with the Patriots before the start of free agency on Tuesday afternoon, Mike Garafolo of USA Today reports.
A league source tells PFT that the Jets have an offer on the table for Revis. Per the source, the offer is a good one, both as to the compensation given to the team and the financial package that would be extended to Revis.
