The Chiefs continue to work quickly to check off their needs, making a deal minutes after the start of the league year for tight end Anthony Fasano.
According to Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star, the Chiefs agreed with the Dolphins tight end today.
That gives them a solid safety valve option for new quarterback Alex Smith and recently extended wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, to go along with what was already a good run game, and the first pick in the draft.

Reggie Bush is now a free agent, for the first time in his career. Per multiple sources, he’ll visit the Lions first.
The Lions, we’re told, are nervous about Bush leaving without a contract. The market has heated up for Bush as free agency approached.
The Cardinals also are interested in Bush. As mentioned earlier in the afternoon, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III wants Bush in Washington.
Some think Bush is destined to land a deal that pays, on average, $3 million to $4 million per year. He was paid a base salary of $4.5 million in 2012 by Miami.
Those two make way too much for the limited production they give. Backus has been trash to mediocre since he got there and Tulloch is just too slow to be effective in today's league. Can't cover ANYBODY and is basically a straight line runner.
That team has holes all over the place. There shouldn't be many players on that team who are untouchable. Probably just Calvin and Suh. Stafford has a lot to prove this upcoming season, though I still think he'll turn it around and be the player we saw in 2011.
