yea 7 mill per is way too much...i didnt even like that we offered him 5 mill per

for 3.5-4 mill it would've been great to keep him but not for 7

hopefully the team doesnt feel like they have to bring Ed back now that Ellerbe isnt coming back.I would rather see us build the D back up through the draft and use the money for Ellerbe to sign a LT

the offense is pretty much set and i dont see using bringing in anyone except a LT and maybe a WR in the draft but we already have 3-4 young WRs our coaching staff likes

we really needed to rebuild the D tho and letting these guys walk is a blessing IMO

He plays like he's stoned. So many times was caught running the wrong route....and he feasted on Ben's scrambling ability to get deep. Same thing with Holmes previously. There's a reason Hines stuck around for so long and they say bye-bye to these other guys. The Steelers have their shyt together. Jeff Ireland doesnt.

I liked Wallace for his blazing speed but he's:

-more of a body catcher than a natural hands guy
-not particularly shifty
-not physical
-admitted he wasn't focused all the time this past season

Tone had his issues but that 08 SB run he was so clutch

Agreed. it seems like the Ellerbee hype recently started. I didn't hear sht about him during the season. All of sudden his the next big thing.
