i'll wait to see what their plan B is before i get worried about them letting him go. i wouldn't mind seeing a new look to the offense. playoff teams have the talent on D to shut down our middle of the field attack. we need to get more versatile, and younger - welker has a ton of miles on him and the hits he takes are bound to catch up to him for being such a small dude

That's the thing, I hate seeing Welker go but at the same time if they can find someone good to take his spot and pump money into the defense, I'd be good with that.

They had a top 5 D & O they dont have many holes to fill

Only big one I see is CB and they will probably use their 1st round pick to address that position

Our WR core looks flabby without wes. At least he makes those clutch 3rd down catches when every defensive players knows its going to him.

Edelman/amendola wouldnt be a bad replacement for him if they can stay healthy. Pats usually move in silence though, i wouldn't be shocked if they pull off a trade for someone like larry fitz. outside receiver needs help, lloyd wasn't the answer there. an actual outside threat + the TE's and it really wouldnt matter who was in the slot


yeah we really need some DBs, hopefully they get talib signed and a backup CB with dennard possibly going to jail. reed would be a nice veteran presence too, something we don't really have back there.
