There are worse-performing DE players that made their respective squads ahead of Sam. He is being discriminated against, which as a black man I have personally experienced, and am ardently opposed. The best players should play -- not the ones the coaches think fit in as the best examples of off the field and on the field behaviour.

He can't play OLB. What changes about my point with him being a one trick pony? Mathis is faster than Sam. He's slow as hell

Mathis runs like a 4.7; Sam runs about the same time. The two players are about the same height and the same size. Sam could potentially play the same position Mathis does.

It's fair to say Sam doesn't contribute to special teams, but you're saying an undersized pass rush specialist doesn't have a roster spot somewhere in the NFL?
Going to be harder and harder for those type of players in a league where fast paced offenses making subs more difficult to come into the game.

He limited as hell. When he struggled in space senior bowl week, it was a wrap.

This whole SEC defensive player of the year angle is trash. You can't change 255 pounds and being too slow to play LB.
Nah not really trash when you consider the last 3 I think sec defensive players of the year all went in the first round. It looks funny even though we all see it seems to be some funny stuff on both sides. Sec defensive player of the year getting drafted in the 7th rd and nfl calling on his behalf.

If the qualifier for the last three SEC defensive players of the year getting into the NFL was to be a "sec defensive player of the year" alone, then you'd have a point.

No team has a starting 255 DE on their roster. This isn't 1987

I agree with you about his measurables that's why I said I can see people looking at it from both angles points.

NFL people or the salon.com and Huffington post crowd that doesn't know jack shyt about football speaking on their novice football points to further some agenda about him being discriminated against? I wanted the Jets to draft him until I heard how shytty he performed senior bowl week and his atrocious combine. He can get to the qb though, but he's no more than a Daniel Stubbs journeyman player at best

This is why I favor college football over the NFL...

I can't deal with this petty ish. nikkas making calls to get this nikka signed? :wtf:

This is truly a business, and with the rule changes, it's getting harder and harder to focus on yearly. Last night I looked at the game and all the pageantry around it, couldn't get myself excited to watch like last Saturday when all them college games are on. Goodell is ruining pro football, or over saturating it to the point it's actually not fun to watch anymore...stuff like this just further explains my point

You sound stupid.

What unbearable media attention has a team had to deal with because of Sam
the fact that the cowboys have had more reports on sam joining the PRACTICE SQUAD then there week 1 game is telling.
