ES was all black faces (hosting at least) but it fell flat for several reasons. I’m not saying it’s because they were black, just pointing out that was one with black faces front & centre.

At least they put Rosenberg on here not some random rock journalist who’s fav rap album is some obscure trap shyt who knows nothing about the culture. Rosenberg isn’t that much better IMO, he has a very limited range of knowledge when it comes to Hip Hop. His knowledge specifically relates to early to mid 90s NY Hip Hop. Anything outside the east coast or NY more specifically and he struggles to know anything in that same time period. Anything before 1988 and he hasn’t really listened to much stuff like Krown Rulers for example or even the bigger known names of the time. Down south before mid 2000s and he knows jack shyt, same with west coast outside of the big names.

I find it quite insulting actually that they will let Rosenberg be on here for 40 mins at a time but they cut Combat jacks interviews into 5 min segments a few years ago. fukk complex
