I really can't believe a select FEW are really in here
still defending Nicki, when the overall consensus is clearly against her in this case.
I'll never claim to be a militant black dude b/c I'm not, I listen to my fair share of ignorant music at times, say nikka, etc There’s an acceptable time/place for certain stuff,
BUTsome stuff is just NOT permissible at all. Reducing Malcolm X to a "lookin ass nikka” as the visual representation(an image that will exist on millions of ipods/phones, mp3 players) of song that's degrading (black) men is UNacceptable.....reducing MLK himself and his quotes to party flyer advertisements is UNacceptable.
Y'all are letting too much stuff slide. Who's gonna watch the gate for the black FUTURE if y'all are comfortable letting stuff like this happen? Even white ppl don't have the gall(or at least know better) than to do stuff like this. But ur fine with this b/c you like the beat and she’s a young black woman?

If you can’t at the very least respect dudes who died in a cause for equality so you can be where you are now, then I don’t know what to say. You won’t see anyone get on TV and personally disrespect an individual military soldier. They’d get eaten alive….
It might not bother you, but some young kid(white or black, or whatever) looks at this cover and asks, “who’s that black guy on that cover” And someone says, “some guy named Malcolm X….some black leader” What does you think that says about his importance? You won’t see some great Jewish figure/leader disrespected like that….you won’t see a highly regarded great white leader disrespected like that……not by any other race, and certainly NOT by HIS OWN PEOPLE.
And that apology she posted about “the word nikka being bad but nikka behavior being praised”, please stop. Don’t try to shift the blame to save face…just take the L and keep it moving.
Just b/c you'd lay down in bed with Nicki Minaj doesn't absolve her from being guilty....unless ur just a weak excuse for a man.
