60% of the time the team that won the cointoss won in OT. Over time you'd expect it to be a 50/50 split if the rules were fair.

I'm not denying any of that. You are right, the Pats kicked him the ball and he lost in OT. This was never up for debate. We all saw it happen.

I'm pointing out that you were completely wrong in your initial statement that Peyton was somehow in the wrong for pointing out that the old OT rules gave the cointoss winner an advantage. He wasn't making an excuse, those are facts.

If you wanna push that narrative find a better example.
