Did Peyton play poorly..yeah...

But that super expensive defense didn't get any pass rush...

Actually allowed Indy to run the ball effectively...which is hilarious when you think about them having all of 1 yard rushing against the cowboys...

Receivers...once again...got locked up underneath...

Jon Fox has been one of the worst coaches in football since his superbowl run with Carolina...

Peyton coming back depends on the Thomas's...they come back he will be back...they both leave (and they both are going to get monster offers) then he is going to hang it up because without them that offense will go through a rebuild...

Also somebody needs to just make Wes Welker retire...this dude been punch drunk since his last concussion and if he play another year he going to be dead within 5

Should be his last season
Co-sign...I could see if he played in a dome or warm weather locale....I'd give him another 2 years under those conditions...But those December and January Denver cold spells aren't going to help matters...He doesn't even make his throws based on the receiver's movements...He has to throw the ball to the spot he ANTICIPATES the receiver should because of that lack of arm strength:flabbynsick:...Reminds me of an old slugger who cant catch up to fastballs anymore and swing early to compensate:to:

That's putting it mildly, he was awful.

But that super expensive defense didn't get any pass rush...

Can't dispute that, Von Miller and Ware were ghost this game.

Receivers...once again...got locked up underneath...

This is more of a function of the defense knowing that Manning's not able to beat them deep.

Jon Fox has been one of the worst coaches in football since his superbowl run with Carolina...

I gotta cosign this. He coaches like a p*ssy.

Tbh he needs a team like Seattle or the Cardinals where QB isn't heavyily relied on. He's still good but honestly I don't think he can carry an offense anymore.

His ego won't allow it.

Yesterday was a game BEGGING them to run the ball. He was throwing ducks, Demarious Thomas was dropping balls, CJ was averaging over 5 yards a carry in the first half against a team that even armchair scouts knew couldn't stop the run...so what do they do in the second half in a 14-10 game? They open up with two straight 3 and outs, with two passes and one rush on each. CJ only gets 5 carries in the second half.

Peyton ain't built for 'managing' a game. The sun don't shine if son don't shine :yeshrug:

There really was no reason for a team that talented to go out like that. It's not like the Patriots came back against the Ravens by throwing bombs (though Brady did throw lasers). Where was Julius up the seam? Where were the intermediate routes? It was just awful to watch. Broncos did not come to play and at some point you have to look at the head coach who has gotten by on his team being more talented than others.

i been saying this for years. Fox should've been fired after the ravens fiasco.

Not sure who they can bring in that's a big name that would give them credibility.

+rep I was :mindblown:, they totally abandoned the run when it was effective for them. Noodle arm or no, there's no reason they should have lost that game.

Most teams don't have the talent in the secondary that the Colts do, but I do agree.

Either they go with a heavy run game like Dallas or it's over

He was missing open guys down field left and right. Romo can get the ball downfield and make throws. Peyton just flat out can't make throws anymore. Honestly it's amazing that he's done what he's done for as long as he's done it with that arm or lack thereof but it is indeed over.

Brett Favre had arguably his best individual season at 41 years old.

And he looked like shyt and got hurt the next season and promptly retired and he wasn't coming off career threatening neck injuries with a weakened arm. Peyton had arguably his best season last year and has looked shaky this year. So if we are following the Favre blueprint he isn't gonna be better next year and should hang it up.
